# Final Fantasy Font: What the Logo Uses + Free Lookalikes

## Short answer

The Final Fantasy logo is custom lettering, not a font you can install.

The sources say this indirectly: Square Enix's own Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster page credits the logo illustration to Yoshitaka Amano in its copyright line.

## What the Lettering Looks Like

Tall, condensed serif capitals with strong thick-thin contrast, usually black or silver, placed under or across a fine-line Amano illustration emblem that changes with each numbered game.

## Free Open Lookalikes

Chosen by eye from the style hubs for a similar feel; not a measured match.
