# Halo Font: What the Logo Uses + Free Lookalikes

## Short answer

The Halo logo is custom lettering, not a font you can install.

The sources say this indirectly: Archived Bungie Weekly Update (Sep 2006): artists drew the Halo 3 '3' to match the existing HALO letterform; Bungie artists finalised it.

## What the Lettering Looks Like

Very wide, low, flat sans-serif capitals in steel blue with angled cuts; the O is drawn as a tilted ring around a small central dot, echoing the ring-shaped world.

## Free Open Lookalikes

Chosen by eye from the style hubs for a similar feel; not a measured match.
