# Privacy Policy

This page describes how cookie consent works, what is stored in your browser, and external requests made when using FontsLike.

## Cookie Consent

The cookie consent bar appears only for visitors whose time zone is in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Visitors from other time zones receive no consent banner, and consent signals default to granted.

- **Accept**: Sets Google Consent Mode v2 signals (`ad_storage`, `analytics_storage`, `ad_user_data`, `ad_personalization`) to `granted`.
- **Reject**: Sets Google Consent Mode v2 signals to `denied`.
- **Storage**: Your decision is saved in browser localStorage under `cc_v1` (`granted` or `denied`).
- **Changing settings**: The "Cookie settings" link in the footer reopens the consent bar at any time.

Today no analytics and no ads load on FontsLike. When analytics or ad scripts are added in the future, they respect the choice stored in `cc_v1`.

## Local Storage Keys

FontsLike uses localStorage strictly for user preferences:

- **cc_v1**: Stores cookie consent state (`granted` or `denied`).
- **fl-theme**: Stores theme preference (`dark` or `light`) selected via the theme toggle.

## External Network Requests

- **Cloudflare**: Hosts static website assets and edge routing. Standard HTTP headers and IP addresses are processed for edge delivery and security.
- **Fontsource CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net)**: When an open font preview enters view, your browser loads the WOFF2 font file from `cdn.jsdelivr.net/fontsource/...`.
